It’s been an extremely busy week for me and there are no signs that things calm down any in the near future.  I guess that’s a good problem to have!

I was granted a media pass to Round 6 of the Redline Time Attack @ Englishtown Raceway in NJ on Sunday, Aug 30th.  Saturday’s event, which was practice only, was nearly rained out.  Glad I skipped it!  Sunday’s racing saw the complete opposite, blue skies and dry track.  That made for great light to shoot by, but I’d packed for rain so I didn’t have my sunscreen with me, which meant my bald scalp got roasted.  Ow!  All worth it, though!

The media pass allowed us access onto the track as the racing was happening.  We were stationed in a tiny concrete barricade.

The folks at Redline put on a great event.  Well organized, and on schedule despite a few mishaps on track.  Full congrats to Mark Daddio for the Unlimited AWD and overall win.
