Getting Caught Up

I feel it’s terribly cliche to whine about not being able to update one’s blog.  So call me cliche.  This is my ‘catching up’ post.  Catching up, as in, I’ve been really busy!

October’s been a historically busy month, and October 2009 proved no different.  Packed up the car at the end of the month and hit the road.

Friday, the 30th was Halloween at http://www.fifthstreetcross.com in PA where Jason scared everyone with his ‘Anita Waxing’ costume!

Saturday the 31st (Halloween) was Beacon CX (a UCI C2 race) in NJ.

Sunday, November 1st was the NYC Marathon.  I need to take a moment here to mention that NYC Marathon Sunday is like Christmas day to me.  It’s my favorite day of the year – be it spectating or participating, the friendliness of the city on that day is unmatched, anywhere.

My good buddy Jack, en route to completing marathon #18 (congrats Jack!) – running down 5th ave, about to enter back into Central Park.

After three shoots in three days in three different cities, I took a bit of a breather and hung out in NYC for a few days.  While I was there, I got some photos placed w/ a few websites:

Men’s and women’s pro/elite winners @ Beacon, on cyclingnews.com, as well as on cxmagazine.com.

The following weekend brought me a bit closer to home.  Fair Hill CX in Maryland (MAC Round 7) and Tacchino Ciclocross, also in MD.  I had some friends racing @ Fair Hill.  Here’s Fred, from Halter’s Cycles, getting it done at Fair Hill.

Joe Dombrowski soloing to victory during Sunday’s Tacchino Ciclocross.

cxmagazine.com also posted the pics from Sunday’s race, here.

So that’s gets me caught up.  Just in time for the USGP of CX @ Mercer County Park this weekend!  I’ve teamed up w/ the guys from CX Magazine and we’ll be (trying!) bringing you as it happens photo coverage of the event!

Of course, full galleries of each can be found on my website.
