I mentioned that my buddy, Craig, let me tag along as second shooter as he filmed Los Rakas’ new single, Kalle earlier in the month. Well, one of the stills I took, they ended up using as a promo piece…that got published in Argentina.

NYC Marathon 2010 – I’m Raising Money for LIVESTRONG

I’ve got a small favor to ask of you. I’m running the 2010 ING NYC Marathon on November 7, 2010 in support of the LIVESTRONG foundation, and those 28 million people living around the world with cancer.

To the point, I’m asking for a donation, a pledge, a charitable contribution of a few dollars to help this great organization do some good work.

To make things more interesting, I’m setting two public goals. First, I’d like to raise a minimum of $5,000 by November 7th, Marathon Sunday. Second, I’ll be aiming to shave an hour off of my first marathon time of 4h 31m (2007 NYC Marathon). In 2007 I trained for 4 weeks. This year I’ve started my training at a more knee-friendly 15 weeks out. With your help, I have no doubt that both goals are possible.

My good buddy Aleks asked if I’d get a few shots of him on his dual sport motorcycle.

I said ‘no prob’.

So we went out one afternoon as the temp neared 100(!) and got some fun shots.

It’s surprisingly hard to shoot while riding on the back of the bike…through the woods.
