(Warning: Monster Pic Post Ahead!) I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph the Rapha Bowery’s NYC’s Fastest Mechanic Competition tonight. 4 mechanics… Jon (Signature) Dave (NYC Velo) Mark Purdy (Ifixbyx) Jose (Sid’s)
I mentioned previously that I helped my buddy Ian shoot the GQ/Bombay Sapphire NYC Mixologist competition at the Trump SoHo, but I had to sit on the rest of the pics until they’d been delivered to the client. Now that they have, I can share the rest with you. I didn’t have my camera out [...]
Some of my shots from Redline Time Attack‘s stop at New Jersey Motorsports Park this spring were published in PAS Mag‘s Aug/Sept 2010 issue. (You can read about my photos from 2009′s RTA @ Englishtown in print, here.) :-)
My Samsung Vibrant has just about replaced my P&S camera totally. Shot this on Sunday at The Frying Pan. Most of the barge is exposed to the elements, and what little cover was available was reserved for what looked like a bridal shower. Here, two guests look out of the Hudson, presumably to check to [...]
Shot w/ my Vibrant.
Went back to Unadilla last weekend. Working through my pics as fast as I can. Teaser for now – ‘I see you…’
I had no idea such a thing existed until last night when I got to go to their ‘clubhouse’ on the water near Ellis Island. It was a really neat escape from the city on a Wednesday night… Taken w/ my cell phone (Vibrant). You can read more about the club, here.

The rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art has to offer one of the neatest public views in all of Manhattan. Bonus #1 – There’s an interactive art piece on the rooftop. Bonus #2 – They serve cocktails up there, as well. Last summer I took a photo of Roxy Paine’s ‘Maelstrom‘. (Old post is [...]
Quick shot from my cellphone of lower Central Park from the Met Rooftop. The current installation is ‘Big Bambu‘. It’s surreal to see in person.
Unfortunately I can’t show you any pics, but just wanted to share that I helped Ian shoot this event - www.addresspsoriasis.com I was literally in awe by how well prepared, polite, and just genuinely nice Tim Gunn was. Really, he was that nice.
Mouthful, huh? I was Ian’s second shooter for the event, and I’ve only got a teaser pic for ya. ;) Full pics and maybe a few sentences coming soon!
