This is a post that I’ve been wanting to write ever since I took these photos.  Nick is a good buddy of mine from a few years back.  When he asked me to shoot his wedding, I was delighted, honored and thrilled.

We decided to shoot Nick and Hayley’s engagement session over the 4th of July weekend in Charlotte, NC.  It happened to be my birthday that weekend.  Coincidence?

Not even close.

We had a ton of fun celebrating my advanced age, their engagement and the 4th. :-)

To say that I’m excited to shoot their wedding next May would be the understatement of the year. :-)
