Recently had a friend in town from D.C. which is a good thing as he pushes me out of my comfort zone some. Case in point, we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art while he was here. The last time I was there had to have been when I was in grade school on a field trip…
Anyhow, we eventually made our way to the rooftop for a drink, and to check out the view.
It’s been raining a bunch here lately, and that day was no exception. Thankfully, stormy weather brings great clouds along with it.
There was also a sculpture on top of the roof, Roxy Paine’s ‘Maelstrom’. Lots of pipes welded together, creating this Tim Burton-esque landscape. I really like this one, if I do say so myself.
